Workshops in 2007 and 2008 were so popular that I have decided to run them again in 2009.

Last year I ran a basic photography workshop which was aimed at the newcomer to photography but also benefited the amateur photographer who wanted to improve his/her photography skills. 

I will also be running the portrait workshop again.  Sadly there was not as much take up on this workshop.  I suspect this may in part have been due to a lack of confidence in the idea of having to interact with a model.  This workshop was in fact good fun, an opportunity to have a model to pose under group or individual direction and a chance to learn a few tricks to improve your friend and family photo's.  Techniques learnt can apply in more than one situation so it is often a good idea to experience many different learing situations.

Further workshops are being considered, to include an advanced workshop that will follow on from the basic workshop.
